I Am Having Problems Blowing My Nose. When I Blow,

I am having problems blowing my nose. When I blow, my ears pop. Nothing comes out my nose, but mucus always seems to drain down the back of my throat. I had surgery for a deviated septum, which was unsuccessful. I cough quite frequently, but, again, nothing seems to come up unless I "lounger" it up.
