I Am Having Problems With Generic Medications Working The Same

I am having problems with generic medications working the same as the name brand. An example would be my Aciphex. I went online, and I notice many others with the same problem with this drug and many others. Pharmacist says it's the same, but it's not. Do these companies have to make sure they are making the same exact medication?
