I Am Having Rapid Pulse, Feels Like My Heart Is

I am having rapid pulse, feels like my heart is palpitating, when I lay on my left side It bothers me. I can feel my heart skip beats. having shortness of breath. If I check my pulse It is fast from 100-110. And feel irregular. My B/P yesterday was 180/110. Very high for me. I am usually 140/80. I have been diagnosed diabetics. Last A1C 13. Started taking metformin today. Have a monitor and last stick test 434. I also was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism 3 years ago. Have very large nodules on neck last were 8 cm. Not on any meds for that. fatigue
