I Am Having Severe Pain In My Big Toe And

I am having severe pain in my big toe and surrounding area. I have had gout before and assume this is another attack. I started drinking tart black cherry juice yesterday. I cannot take NSAIDS because of other med I take. What else should I do to lessen the pain.
