I Am Having Severe Pain In The Back Under Both

I am having severe pain in the back under both shoulder blades and just below the arm pits. Sometimes the pain moves to the spine area. I am having a very difficult time getting up and setting down. I have been to the ER & they did EKG & CT but didn't find anything. Pain killers are not helping... Help !!
