I Am Having Severe Pain Radiating From My Back To

I am having severe pain radiating from my back to my rib cage. I feel a sense of relief when I put pressure on each side of my spine but, other than that, I cannot get comfortable. In addition touching the area between my rib cage is very sensitive and painful to the touch. Any idea what it could be?
