I Am Having Some Nerve Like Pain On My Left

I am having some nerve like pain on my left cheek bone. I do get some herpes like viral blisters that I just had break out on my hard palate ( just left of suture-intraorally).
I am sure this is probably related- but I have not had the weird 'touchy' nerve pain on my cheek before-Is this anything to be concerned about? Should I take my valtrex 1gm medicine ?
