I Am Healthy Female, Age 28, Who Has Minor Ovarian

I am healthy female, age 28, who has minor ovarian cysts. My period has become irregular and I noticed this since last year. I have been to my family doctor and have high levels of testosterone. After my ultra sound, the doctor stated that I have minor inflamed ovaries. He advised that its normal for this to occur and over time it will go away. Its been a year and every month by period is not regular and dates fluctuate. what are my options?
