I Am In Extreme Pain And I Was Told It

I am in extreme pain and I was told it was TMJ by my Dentist several weeks ago. I went there with pain in my teeth and jaw, without an x-ray he determined I had Tmj. I started 4 days ago again and it felt loke at first with no pain fluid under my left top molers, then the pain slowly started back and all the while both my uper and lower teeth an jaw hurt a lot, this pain will only subside for a couple of hours when I take 600-800 ml or ibuprophin.....help. Sorry I should have said it felt like fluid under my molers then progressed to pain.
