I Am In My 3rd Day After Chalazion Removal. I

I am in my 3rd day after chalazion removal. I have a lot of discharge ,my eye ball is quite red. How long should I expect the discharge. It really affects my vision because it's all over my eye ball. Using erythromycin ointment 3 times daily along with warm compresses.
