I Am In The Process Of Getting A Job As

I am in the process of getting a job as a Corrections Officer for my home county. I am currently a Deputy Jailor as it is. I am prescribed Suboxone tablets and I had to of course take a 12 panel drug screen to become a Deputy Jailor. I came up clean except for the Suboxone of course. The jail I work at said they don't typically accept someone who is on suboxone because of the bad rap suboxone gets these days. However, they accepted me anyway after the interview. My question I guess would be...is it legal for me to work as a Corrections Officer even if I take suboxone (legally) and obviously have a clean drug screen every time? They can't say "no" to offering me a job just because I'm prescribed Suboxone, can they? The reason I ask, is because the jail I'm trying to work at offers much higher pay rate and full time/ full benefits. So I don't want to be passed up just because of my suboxone prescription. Thank you...
