I Am Just Needing To Know If It Is Safe

I am just needing to know if it is safe to take Melatonin with Xarelto.
My mother, age 74 just had hip replacement surgery and she is experiencing a 'restless leg' and I'm trying to give her something natural to help her sleep at night.
IF it is safe, how much melatonin is safe to take.
