I Am Not Able To Take The Generic Version Of

I am not able to take the generic version of my blood pressure medications that I have been taking for 10 to 15 years. My new insurance company does not cover the none generic. The generic of Accupril and Calan SR cause me severe stomach pains. Is this common? What can I do to continue with my medication regimen?
