I Am On 20Mg Atorvastin Daily For 4 Months And

I am on 20Mg atorvastin daily for 4 months and experience heartburn and gas with most all foods. I have a small hiatus hernia and have taken 150mg ranitidine 2xpd for years. I reduced the statin to 10 mg daily and in 10 days heartburn disapated. Conclusion???Coincidental or causal?
