I Am On 8 Mg Coversyl Plus HD 8/2.5mg Once

I am on 8 mg Coversyl Plus HD 8/2.5mg once daily & alternating Synthroid 25mg one day & alternating with 75mg the next day. I have been on this about a year but I am now seeing major hair loss occurring. I am thinking I might be better to go on to thyroid hormone if Dr would agree. What is the reason for an increased hair loss. I am 56 years old. I am also needing mess to help me settle to sleep every night. Imovane 5mg & melatonin 6-8 mgs. H E L P !
