I Am On Eliquis Since 20th July As I Have

I am on Eliquis since 20th July as I have Atrial Fibulation, and am due to have an readjustment of my heart beat on 4th September. With follow pre-Echo next week. I have been feeling fine on Eliquis except for last few days where I had burning around my heart last Sunday on and off of about 10 minutes then it subsided. But yesterday and today I am experiencing aches and jabs around the heart like light squeezing. I have emailed my doctor for advice - could this be AFib advancement or Eliquis.
