I Am On Naturethroid Following A Total Thyroidectomy 18 Years

I am on Naturethroid following a total thyroidectomy 18 years ago. Now I am having the beginning of osteoporosis, and am wondering if the Naturethroid contains the thyrocalcitonin that I need. Is there a natural way to get that hormone without taking myacalcin, which has been prescribed by my MD. I don't like what I read about that drug.
