Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am on rivarauxaban a week last Wednesday I saw traces of blood on toilet paper. I rang 111 who said take a specimen of water to Drs to be examined. The result was blood in urine. Told it could be water infection kidney or gall stone. From then have seen the GP no water infection has out an urgent apt with oncologist which is for 16 Oct. last Saturday there was a lot of blood in toilet bowl told dr this then yesterday a lot of brown water. I am really concerned whether this is to do with rivarauxaban. I was thinking about going to A & E. I had a heart attack on 3 June stent was put in on 7 discharged from hospital with rivarauxaban, clopidogrel, aspirin for one one month only, atarvastatin and ramipril. I see the Dr at the hospital on 24oct. Is there anything I can do in meantime.
