I am on vacation for 7 days. I carry a script for amoxicillin due to double knee replacements. I woke up with a toothache, sore face and tenderness. I know that I need to see a dentist when I get home, but it is 4 days away. What would the normal dose of 500mg amoxicillin be to cover infection since I happen to have it?
