I Am Overweight. Saying That Though, I Am Extremely Clean

I am overweight. Saying that though, I am extremely clean and take care to wash myself very well. Under my stomach, right above my pubic bone there was a small bump, I had assumed that it was an ingrown hair. It started to sting and slightly inflamed. It is in an awkward spot because my stomach overhangs...this morning, it ruptured, there was a lot of blood and puss, and there is now a hole around the size of the tip of a sharpie marker...what do I do, as I don't want it to get infected (I'm assuming it was slightly, or it wouldn't have ruptured. How do I take care of it? I cleaned it with peroxide, and have used polysporin and gauze...
