I am pending surgery for servers Spinal Stenosis and Arthritis, extreme pressure on my sciatica nerve causing constant pain in my lower back, buttocks and legs. Currently I am seeing a pain management Doctor, who's PA has seen me for the last two visits (every 30 days) and when I have informed her that my pain is at a level 10 even with the medicine, her opinion is that "You are on a pretty high dose of pain mess.) I currently take Embeda 30-1.2 mg capsules twice daily, accompanied by 15 mg OxyCODONE every 4 hours. I feel that some other medicine should be tried, because I still have 30 days until my surgery date. My question to you is this truly a high dosage of pain melds?
