I Am Presently On Telmisartan HCTZ 80-25mg And Amlodipine Besylate

I am presently on Telmisartan HCTZ 80-25mg and Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. My blood presure is ranging 140/62 and my Dr is starting Metoprolol tartrate 25 mg. For some reason I m just a little afraid of this drug. What if I increased my exercising to 5 -6 days rather than 4. will this help and i can just wait 4 weeks to see if I really need the additional drug. thanks you for helping
