I Am Recovering From A Cold. I Have Had Lots

I am recovering from a cold. I have had lots of drainage into the back of my throat. If I lay down to sleep then I do a lot of coughing at night and wake up coughing and congested and feeling heavy in the chest area. After 3-4 days I cough really hard and felt a sharp stabbing pain shoot from my breasts to my nipples. It happened twice yesterday and once this morning when I sneezed. Is this something to be concerned about or is it a direct reflection of the draininge and congestion?
