I Am Recovering From Bronchitis. My Doc Prescribed Cold Med

I am recovering from bronchitis. My doc prescribed cold med with coding, inhaler, and pretnizone. I have diarrhea really bad, went to doc she instructed me to have a bland diet (no sugar, fruits or veggies). I saw very light blood in my stool she said that is normal. The blood in my stool has increased should I be concerned?
