I Am Researching Prescription Medications I Might In An Emergency

I am researching prescription medications I might in an emergency medical kit. For instance, I personally will not pay $450 for 2 epi pens. I am entirely capable of administering a recommended dosage of (nor)epinephrine via injection. In addition, I would like have on hand common IV solutions for trauma / shock, plus IV kits. What is the easiest way to obtain supplies like this? Understand - I have no intention of putting on a cape, mask and jet pack to fly off to administer life saving treatment to trauma victims on the mean streets of Detroit/Baghdad/Kabul. I am however intent on acquiring tools and training to administer treatment to myself, my loved ones, and my dogs (don't laugh, you know you plan to do the same) when out of touch with immediate medical response.
