I Am Right Handed And Have A Torn Rotator Cuff.

I am right handed and have a torn rotator cuff. I don't take strong drugs for the pain in my shoulder and neck pain. Only otc aleve. The problem is that I can't do the chores I was able to do before like mowing the grass, repetitive tasks and housework, sometimes driving is a challenge. I am 68 and retired but would like more movement and less pain. Should I have surgery to repair my shoulder?
