I Am Scheduled For A Bilateral Epidural Tomorrow Morning. Yesterday

I am scheduled for a bilateral epidural tomorrow morning. Yesterday my post nasal drip started - primarily due to allergies. My question is this: will the epidural make my post nasal drip worse? Or more specifically, the Dr. office has been real clear that if I have a cold, they will not do the procedure. Do you know of any reasons why?
