I Am Scheduled For Hip Replacement Tuesday And I Went

I am scheduled for hip replacement Tuesday and I went 2 weeks ago for both knee shots of steroids, then last Friday I was recovering from sinus conjestion, and cough, so went to dr. and he ordered a big shot of steroids. Went for pre surgery blood tests and white count is high. Now hospital wants more blood tests tomorrow to check count. Does this make any sense at all?
