I Am Scheduled To Have A Cortizone Injection In Spine

I am scheduled to have a cortizone injection in spine at the neck area. I have some kind of growth or polyp Ion my thyroid. They found it when they did an MRI after a car wreck. Is there any reason I shouldn't get it? The growths have not been diagnosed.
