I Am Suffering From Male Yeast Infection And My Doctor

I am suffering from Male yeast infection and my doctor has prescribed Zimig cream(Terbinafine hydrochloride). The blisters on the glance region has disappeared but have left red rashes. Is it because the cream is too strong? How long does it take to completely get rid of Male yeast infection? Please help
