I Am Suffering From Extremely Severe Depression Associated With Bi-polar

I am suffering from extremely severe depression associated with bi-polar 2. Started seroquel 300 mg daily a week ago and still feeling very poorly. Uncontrollable crying, anxiety, poor thought processing and over all terrible feelings of guilt and hopelessness. How long until I see some changes and is this even the right medication for me?
