I Am Taking 400mg Of Gabapentin For Periodic Limb Movement.

I am taking 400mg of gabapentin for periodic limb movement. I am coming down with a cold and have Smith Bros nighttime cough and congestion I would like to take for congestion and cough. On the box there is a warrning to not use the Smith Bros with a (MAOI) or drugs for Parkinson's Disease. I am wondering if Gabapentin might be used for Parkinson's?
