I Am Taking Gabapentin, Usually 200 Mg To 400 Mg

I am taking Gabapentin, usually 200 mg to 400 mg at night to help me sleep, I also drink wine sometimes. I think this drug is causing me to become more depressed and I think my Doctor prescribed it for depression. I told her I do not like anti-depressants but she prescribed them for me anyway. I was taking valium which seemed to help me but Kaiser is saying they will not prescribe valium or xanax anymore.
