I Am Taking Galvus Met 50/1000 And Shall Be Going

I am taking Galvus Met 50/1000 and shall be going for a nuclear stress test for any heart problems. Is it safe for them to inject a radioactive dye before the test and should I stop the medication for 48 hours before and after the test and should I go for reevaluation of my renal function after the stress test.
