I Am Taking Mercilon To Regulating My Period And Hormones

I am taking Mercilon to regulating my period and hormones not for contraceptive reasons . I took one pill later than the designated time and I got my period . Should I continue with the pills until my period is due and then stop? Or should I stop now . I feel incredibly bloated and I have pain , which is unusual as I had no pain during my periods before I went on the pill .
