I Am Taking Norethisterone On Days 19 To 26 And

I am taking Norethisterone on days 19 to 26 and due to start taking them tomorrow, my period has started today, do l still take them. I have been prescribed these for irregular, prolonged heavy bleeding. I am 50 and have been taking them since November.
