I Am Taking Pepto Bismol 4 Times A Day For

I am taking Pepto Bismol 4 times a day for control of stomach gas after Linx surgery as per my gastroenterologist. I also have osteoarthritis, esp in lumbar spine. Tylenol does nothing for this back pain and I cannot tolerate any narcotics. How much Aspirin could I safely take to try for pain relief, or could I try Ecotrin more safely. Pepto Bismol definitely works for my stomach issues.
