I Am Taking Ramipril 1 Capsule Per Day Since September

I am taking Ramipril 1 capsule per day since September 2015. I had a high blood pressure of 175/? My Blood pressure readings are all normal now. I have cut back on salt in my diet which I think is helping and I am exercising 30 minutes per day. Can I stop taking the ramipril to see if my blood pressure will be okay? How do I determine when to stop taking the medicine. I take my blood pressure every day.
