I Am Taking Efexor Er Now And Am Very Depressed

I am taking efexor er now and am very depressed and it is not getting better. I was wondering if cymbalta would be better to be taking? I am 72 years old and developing a terrible temper. I even told a baby in the grocery to shut up in a rather loud voice. This is not like me to do things like this.
