I am taking potassium citrate ER 15 meq (generic for urocit-K). It is a thick, oblong, tan or light yellow speckled tablet with 538 on it. Manufacturer is Zydus.
However, this same drug from a different pharmacist, at 1620mg from manufacturer Vensu is a bit flatter with S408 or 5408 imprinted on it. Are these the same strength tablet? Also I have uncontrolled type 2 diabetes & read that I should not be taking this drug at all.
