I Am Taking Prescription Potassium By Pill After Receiving Several

I am taking prescription potassium by pill after receiving several I.V.'s in the hospital and a potassium cock tail to drink. I don't know if it's my imagination but I feel drowsy after I take the perscription my mouth.
I have been taking it due to irregular heartbeats due to throwing up acid from acid reflux and a stomach infection.
