I Am Urinating Blood. I Had A Urinalysis Done Yesterday

I am urinating blood. I had a urinalysis done yesterday and it came back negative. It started up again this morning with a vengeance. It burns when I urinate, I have pressure constantly. when I do go to the bathroom, it is bright red. I don't know what direction to go. my dr. said it could be a stone and is going to refer me to a urologist. until I go to that appointment, I do not know how to handle this. any recommendations? its the weekend now, so I don't know how to go about taking care of this. thank you in advance,
