I Am Waiting On My Insurance To Approve A Different

I am waiting on my insurance to approve a different brand of birth control pills because the current ones are making me sick. However I have to wait 24-48 hours for an answer from them and I have to start a new pack today because I finished my sugar pills week. Should I wait to get the new pack or continue with the brand I have now so that I don't mess up the cycle.
