I Am Wondering About A Uti I. Have Never Had

I am wondering about a uti I. Have never had one but I know alot of females that have had them theyctuqlly scared me watching them go threw all that pain. But another thing is if I have inter course then I hurt bad too and I been trying to get past it but I hate not giving it to my husband cause its great but then I am in pain for a few days and I am not sure what to do or how to tell the difference but I know this pain is different from any time before
Please help me
