I Am Wondering If I Should Make An Appointment To

I am wondering if I should make an appointment to get checked out, but of course money is always an issue in my budget. I have had 3 bruises within a few weeks on my elbows: 2 extremely large ones on my left, then a small one on the right. The first one on my left was huge spreading out in all directions about 3-4 inches from the tip of my elbow. Though there was not a mark or skin trauma anywhere, it was associated with acute pain that woke me up in the night, but was eliminated with two alieve. Weird thing is, I never recalled injuring it. Pain was gone in a couple of days; bruise in about a week.
Then a small one happened on my right elbow. And now again a very large one on my left again, all within a few weeks. This time I do recall hitting it on the edge of my counter where I work in a school library. I have noticed the sharp, squared edge on multiple occasions, and want to say this is related, but I've never had such HUGE bruises before this. (Maybe it's rather the new clumsiness I should really be looking as a concerning symptom?)
