I Am Worried About My Husband Who Will Be 55

I am worried about my husband who will be 55 in March. He has been "pill rolling " with his finger and thumb for about 4 years approximately. He seems to be losing his confidence, becoming more anxious about little things, forgetful and my mother even thinks that he looks vacant at times. Should I be concerned?
