Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am worried that i may have contracted hiv from someone and i have been having issues such as peeling of the skin on my hands and toes, white and red spots in my mouth, a rash on my chest that eventually went away after about a week, burning and tingling of my hands, nail fungal infection on my toenail. I took an hiv1-2 screen 20 days after last possible exposure and it was non reactive. I have since then taken another hiv test and am waiting on the results(38 days after last possible exposure). How accurate will these results be for me and should i be worried?
