I Am Writing About My 66 Year Old Husband. Symptoms

I am writing about my 66 year old husband. Symptoms came up as mono--my three year old granddaughter was recently diagnosed with mono. Could he have gotten it from her? Is this more concerning in an adult? Urgent care tonight or his regular MD tomorrow.
