I Awoke Last Night To Sharp Pain In My Abdomen.

I awoke last night to sharp pain in my abdomen. It lasted on and off for about 4 hours. I took ibuprofen and a gas ex thinking it was either bad gas pain or an ovarian cyst. I was worried but the pain went away and has not come back. Now I am spotting and I am on day 11 of my cycle. I normally do not spot at all between period s and I am very regular. Is this an emergency or can I wait to see my Gynecologist tomorrow?
