I Became 65 Yesterday And Have Now Retired. I Have
I became 65 yesterday and have now retired. I have epilepsy and am taking 750 mg of Lamictal a day. I have tried the generic a few times but it did not work. I had multiple bad seizures, and a couple of car wrecks, That's when my Dr. strictly said that I needed to stay on the brand name Lamictal. This medicine as you know is very expensive. Before I retired I started checking multiple places for help without any luck. I am also on the drug Zongran(400mg a day). I do have a little retirement money in the bank but it will go fast with the combined cost of these two drugs plus the others I'm taking for various reasons also. Is there anyway the manufacture can offer me assistance with the cost of this (lamictal)? I live by myself(my wife died last March) I can no longer drive a car and so I am in a very bad peridement with just the social security check coming in.
